Licensing & Commercial Use
This page explains the licensing terms that apply to music you create with Sonivora, including how tracks may be used in personal and commercial projects. The rights you receive are governed by your applicable plan and the platform agreement.
1. Rights for Generated Music
Credit packages pay for music generation; they are not subscription license tiers. Permitted uses depend on the applicable music-provider terms and any rights expressly granted with the content. Check those terms before distributing or using a song commercially.
- Use only prompts, lyrics, photos and other inputs that you have the right to provide.
- A credit purchase does not by itself guarantee commercial-use rights.
- AI-generated output may resemble other output. Review each song before sharing or distributing it.
2. What "Commercial Use" Means
Commercial use means using a track in a context intended to generate revenue or business benefit. Examples include monetized content, client deliverables, and music for advertising, video, podcasts or games. Confirm that the applicable music-provider terms permit your intended use; purchasing credits alone is not confirmation.
3. What Is Permitted
Subject to the applicable license and these terms, you may:
- Use tracks in personal projects and, where the applicable license permits, in commercial projects.
- Edit, mix, remix and adapt tracks you create using tools available to you.
- Distribute tracks on streaming, video and social platforms according to the applicable license and platform rules.
- Combine generated tracks with your own original content.
4. What Is Not Permitted
You may not:
- Re-sell or redistribute the generated output itself as a standalone asset or downloadable pack.
- Use the Service or its output for infringing purposes.
- Use output to train a competing model without permission.
- Misrepresent exclusive rights to the output.
- Use output commercially without the rights required for that use.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for your use of the Service and the output you create. In particular:
- You must own or have the rights to any material you upload.
- You are responsible for the compliance of your final work.
- You are responsible for complying with the laws and platform rules that apply in your jurisdiction.
6. Attribution
Attribution is not required by default. You do not have to credit Sonivora when you use tracks you created, unless the platform terms or a specific program require it, in which case you must follow those requirements.
7. Termination of License
The license applies while your account is in good standing and while you comply with these terms. If your account is terminated for a violation, or if you use content outside the scope of the applicable license, the license for the affected content ends.
